MEET YAMI
Yami Johnson is a licensed Esthetician with a degree in Business whose passion for skincare started at a very young age. As an adult she wanted to learn more about the the skincare industry and attended Christine Valmy school of Esthetics, graduating with high academic achievements. After graduation and obtaining her New York State Esthetics license, she worked as an Esthetician at a Nail Lounge. It was her knowledge of business and her 5-star reviews that landed her a manager's position within months. When the owner of that business decided to close unexpectedly, Yami opened up her very own boutique spa within a month to prevent fellow staff members from becoming unemployed and clients from losing a pampering home.

The opening of Molas Boutique Spa was a dream come true for Yami and an instant success. Things later took a turn when Yami gave birth to her son, Noah, who was born with a heart defect as well as lung and kidney disease. Long hospital stays due to Noah's heart surgeries and other complications made running a business from her son's hospital bed almost impossible. Yami finally made the difficult decision to close the business that she loved so much, and focus on her son's recovery.

With a successful client following, and improvements in her son's health, she decided to work from home and also provided mobile services for celebrity clients and special events. Yami believes that life has it's ups and downs, but the most important thing is not giving up and trusting God's plan.

In 2020, despite the Coronavirus pandemic, she resumed her skincare services in an exclusive space where clients received individual attention. Yami believes that her new business was founded by the love for her son Noah and family. "There's a lot of emotional and financial hardship that comes with having a medically complexed child", says Yami. "None of that stops me from growing as mother and as a business; positivity is essential in life and will get you through the toughest battles." Yami goes on to say, "I was blessed with a love and skill for skincare and that love drives me to persevere for my child and my family."

Eliana
With a passion for detail and understanding customer service, Eliana recently held the positon of Head Nail Technician at one of New York's top luxury spa. She chose to be a nail tech because she loves the endless creative involved in nail art and the way a great set of nails can make a person feel. She has been doing nails since her teenage years and her specialty is nail design. "I love what I do, especially meeting new and wonderful people. I am really lucky to be able to do something that I really enjoy." By being a licensed nail tech, her education and training allows her to focus on more than just polish. Eliana is a trained professional, who takes nail care to an expert level.
Niki
Niki is a young, ambitious nail artist who grew up in Brooklyn with a creative mindset that never stopped her passion for beauty and success. A go-getter that's never looking to settle for what is, which is why her and Yami have built a very strong bond. Niki specializes in freestyle nail designs; you can give her a vision and watch her execute it! Niki loves what she does and considers her clients to be valuable contributors to her journey in the beauty business. "My hustle is now my passion" says Niki. "I was born with talent but my skills will continue to expand with time".
Maria
Maria is a highly trained, New York based makeup artist. Her love for skincare and makeup began at an early age. After attending Christine Valmy School of Esthetics, she worked for MAC Cosmetics and spent those early years as a makeup artist refining her skills. Her 10+ years in the beauty industry includes working with many talented photographers and agencies. Her work has been featured in numerous magazine spreads, music videos, television as well as working with celebrity clients.
Today, Maria continues to work passionately, creating exquisite makeup looks on faces everywhere and helping her clients to feel confident and look their best!
